FREE child weekend fares
With a registered AT HOP card, children aged 5-15 years inclusive travel free of charge on buses, trains and ferries* on weekends and on public holidays. Children under five travel free any time when accompanied by a fare paying passenger.

Grab your kids an AT HOP card today and register each card with their date of birth. With a child concession loaded you’re good to go! Just tag on and off buses, trains and ferries as you would normally but there won’t be any charge.
Setting up a child discount concession is easy, simply:
- buy an AT HOP card for each of your children 5-15 years of age inclusive
- create a MyAT account
- register your child’s AT HOP card
- start your adventure.
Please note: A child concession will be applied automatically when you register your child’s AT HOP card with the correct date of birth. It may take 24-72 hours after registration for the concession to be applied, so make sure you register the card/s at least two days before you intend to travel.
