Consultation status: closed 17 July 2017
Proposal reference: BYL-141
We are proposing to remove 8m of broken yellow lines restrictions on the southern side of Faraday Street.
Why the changes are needed
There are 3 short sections of broken yellow lines (approx. 4m each) on Faraday Street. We have found that 2 of these sections are not required anymore and with a high parking demand on the street due to new businesses, removing the broken yellow lines can increase the number of legal parking spaces.
After consideration of feedback already received and in light of other parking proposals in development, we will be closing this consultation and including these changes (broken yellow lines restrictions removals) into a new proposal in the coming weeks. Any feedback we have already received will be addressed at the end of this new proposal’s consultation period.
We expect the new proposal to be initiated in August 2017.
