Grosvenor Street, Grey Lynn - No stopping at all times restrictions

Consultation status: closed 9 December 2016

We are looking to add No stopping at all times restrictions (broken yellow lines) at the end of Grosvenor Street in Grey Lynn.

Why changes are required

Due to parked vehicles, residents are unable to access their properties and cannot perform a U-turn at the end of Grosvenor Street. The No stopping at all times restrictions will improve accessibility and traffic flow on Grosvenor Street.

Please only provide feedback on this proposal.

The proposal received positive feedback with no concerns raised by respondents. After reviewing this feedback and all other supporting evidence, the proposal will proceed without changes to the next stage of detailed planning.

Specific feedback and proposed solution

Request that the ‘No Exit’ signs be placed on the entrance to Grosvenor Street. We will be placing ‘No Exit’ signs on to the entrance of Grosvenor Street as requested.

Next stage

We expect to introduce this work by June 2017, subject to any further changes in design or funding issues. We are aligning this work with the previously proposed cycleway project therefore both projects will be constructed at the same time. Contractors will issue a 48-hour notice to all residents in the area prior to starting construction work.
