In the past couple of weeks we have become aware of isolated issues where some customer’s online card top-ups have not worked.

Some customers have received an error message when trying to top-up but then the transaction appears to have gone through.  Please note that the money from these transactions has not been received by Auckland Transport and will not be charged to your credit card.  It may be that the amount is “on hold” with your bank which the bank will then release back to you.  This can take between 7 – 10 days depending on who you bank with.

If you have an issue or a query you can contact us, on ph 09 366 4467, Mon-Fri 6am - 9pm, Sat 7am - 8pm, Sun and public holidays 8am - 6.30pm and we will assist in resolving this. Please be aware our call waiting times might be a bit longer than usual.

We are working hard with our technology suppliers to fix the problem and are aiming to have it rectified as quickly as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Holloway Pl, Penrose - No stopping restrictions

Consultation status: closed 22 June 2017

We are proposing to install 47m of No stopping at all times restrictions (broken yellow lines) on Holloway Place from the driveway of Hirepool to the intersection.

Why the changes are needed

Currently cars are parking on both sides of the street blocking the two-way flow for heavy goods vehicles along this section.

The proposal received positive feedback with some concerns raised by respondents. After reviewing this feedback and all other supporting evidence, the proposal will proceed with changes to the next stage of detailed planning. Changes include extending the restrictions along onto Gt South Road down to Simms Road.

Specific feedback and proposed solution

  • Extend No stopping at all times restrictions: further back another 5 spaces, on the other side of the road between #1-3 and #9-15 and also further around on Great South Road to improve access. AT will extend the restrictions onto Great South Road down to Simms Road, as per the feedback received. Unfortunately, we are unable to add anymore No stopping at all times restrictions to the road as there is still a high demand for parking and the current proposal will remove six spaces from the street.

Next steps

We expect to introduce this work starting in July 2017 and throughout 2017/2018, subject to any further changes in design or funding issues.

Contractors will notify all affected residents prior to construction work.
