We are proposing to install new broken yellow lines (no stopping at all times restrictions) outside numbers 11 to 17 Torrington Crescent, either side of Skippy Patuwai Lane.

Why the changes are needed

The changes are needed to improve the safety of this road. The parking on the approach to the bend on the northern section of the road means visibility is reduced and vehicles find it difficult to manoeuvre here safely.

Feedback results

The proposal received positive feedback with no concerns raised by respondents. After reviewing this feedback and all other supporting evidence, the proposal will proceed without changes to the next stage of detailed planning.

Next Steps

We expect to introduce this work between July 2018 and June 2019, subject to further changes in design or funding issues. Contractors will notify all affected residents prior to construction work.
