AT proposed to install new NSAAT restriction (broken yellow lines) on The Esplanade in Campbells Bay
AT proposed the following improvements:
- Install new broken yellow lines outside No. 13 on The Esplanade in Campbells Bay.
Why the changes are needed
The Esplanade is a narrow road which causes congestion and inter-visibility issues for drivers when cars are parked on both sides of the road. There may also be access issues for emergency vehicles. The proposed broken yellow lines will improve accessibility and inter-visibility for drivers on The Esplanade.
AT will consider all feedback received and make a decision on the final outcome. We will provide you with an update when this decision has been reached.
We received positive feedback on this proposal. After revewing the feedback and other supporting evidence, the proposal will proceed without changes.
Can the broken yellow lines also be installed outside 11 The Esplanade?
There should not be any access issues outside 11 The Esplanade as there should be no cars parking on the other side of the road outside 10 The Esplanade. It is illegal to park within 1 meter of a driveway. If there are parking issues at this location, contact our Parking Enforcement team on (09) 355 3553 with the vehicle details to request a parking officer visit to the site.
We expect to start this work before June 2017, subject to any further changes in design or funding issues.
Contractors will issue 48-hour notice to all affected residents prior to construction work.
