Proposal reference: BYL-181
We are proposing to install broken yellow lines (no stopping at all times restrictions) at the Bremner Road/Creek Road intersection in Drury.
Cars parked in this intersection are restricting turning movements for large vehicles. Restricting parking at this intersection will help alleviate the difficulties large vehicles face manoeuvring around this intersection.
The proposal received positive feedback with some concerns raised by respondents. After reviewing this feedback and all other supporting evidence, the proposal will proceed without changes to the next stage of detailed planning
- Suggest ‘give way’ signage into Firth Street from Bremner Road be changed to a ‘stop’ intersection. Firth street is out of the scope for this project. However we may consider it for future improvement opportunities.
- Request that AT widen the bridge on Norrie Road from one lane to two lanes. This is out of scope for this particular project. If you would like your request to be considered by us for future development works, please provide feedback here.
We expect to introduce this work in the 2017/18 financial year, subject to any further changes in design or funding issues.
Contractors will issue 48-hour notice to all affected residents prior to construction work.
