Galvan Avenue, Sunnyhills - No stopping at all times restrictions Galvan Avenue, Sunnyhills - No stopping at all times restrictions

Consultation status: closed 27 January 2017. Feedback results available.

We are looking to add No stopping at all times restrictions (broken yellow lines) on Galvan Avenue, Sunnyhills.

Why changes are required

We are responding to public concerns with regard to restricted vehicle accessibility issues caused by parked cars near the intersection of Galvan Avenue and Stanniland Street. Larger vehicles have at times navigated around parked cars by driving over the traffic island.

We have carried out site visits that have confirmed this issue.

Next steps

We expect to introduce this work by June 2017, subject to any further changes in design or funding issues.
