We are proposing to extend broken yellow lines along Nirmal Place, through to the driveway of 17 Nirmal Place on the west side of the road, and through to the driveway of 16 Nirmal Place on the east side of the road. This will remove a total of three on-street parking spaces.

Why the changes are needed

This proposal aims to reduce visibility and access issues around the bend where Nirmal Place meets Sungrove Rise and to provide safer entry and exit for residents accessing their driveways at this location.

Outcome of consultation

The proposal received mixed feedback with some concerns raised by respondents. After reviewing this feedback and all other supporting evidence, the proposal will proceed with changes to the next stage of detailed planning.

The revised design will extend broken yellow lines along the western side of Nirmal Place through to the storm drain outside 15 Nirmal Place. The broken yellow lines originally proposed for the eastern side of Nirmal Place will no longer be installed.
