Teal Way, Hobsonville - No stopping restrictions Teal Way, Hobsonville - No stopping restrictions
Consultation status: closed 31 January 2018
Proposal reference: BYL-197
Proposed changes:
- Remove a section of broken yellow lines (no stopping at all times restrictions) at the turning head on Teal Way between numbers 17 and 24.
- As a result add 3 more parking spaces to the cul-de-sac head.
- The existing broken yellow lines have not yet been legally resolved, so we are also consulting to resolve the remaining broken yellow lines in order to make them legally enforceable.

The broken yellow lines (no stopping at all times restrictions) on the street were reviewed and it was found that the turning head on Teal Way provides enough room for rubbish trucks to manoeuvre around with some vehicles parked outside properties 17 to 24.
There is not sufficient space for a car to park legally outside of property number 22, and it is not desirable to have cars parked on corners; therefore the broken yellow lines are still required outside numbers 15 and 22.
