Bus wins in football commute comparison

A comparison between bus and car travel conducted by two New Zealand Herald reporters who joined the crowd travelling to North Harbour Stadium yesterday evening for the FIFA U-20 Football World Cup match resulted in glowing reviews for bus travel.

The reporter and the supporters travelling on buses from around Auckland generally found the bus trip relaxing and efficient while the reporter in a car had a frustrating time negotiating rush-hour traffic, a thunder storm, and spectator traffic to the match.
