The Rail and Maritime Trade Union (RMTU) has given notice of its intent to commence industrial action from Monday 26 February to Friday 16 March.

Auckland Transport and Transdev have developed a temporary timetable to minimise disruption and provide consistent rail services on these lines during this period.

Customers can expect Southern, Western and Eastern line weekday peak train services at 20-minute intervals, with inter-peak and off-peak services running as normal. Many trains on these services will run with six cars, which can hold 900 passengers, to help reduce impact.

Onehunga and Pukekohe weekday train services and weekend train services across all lines will remain on their usual timetable.

Ferry and bus services will operate as normal.

Transport options for Coca Cola Christmas in the Park Transport options for Coca Cola Christmas in the Park

Take the family to the annual Coca Cola Christmas in the Park at the Auckland Domain by train, bus or ferry on Saturday 14 December, 7.30pm.

The popular concert event attracts thousands of people and public transport and roads around the Auckland Domain will be busier than usual.

This year there is a complete liquor ban in place for all public transport services as well as Christmas in the Park, so please leave all beverages at home.

Some roads around the Domain will be closed and parking restrictions will apply so people should consider public transport to get there. There are a range of transport options and fares; however you should check in advance to see what suits you and make plans to travel early. Check how you can get to the concert and back home by using the journey planner at www.at.co.nz.

If the concert is moved to the rain date of Sunday 15 December, some services may be limited.
