Catch public transport to the All Blacks vs. France match. Travel is included with your game ticket for trains and special event buses.

Date: Saturday 9 June.
Location: Eden Park.
Time: Gates open 5pm, Kick off 7.35pm.

Make sure to travel early and beat the crowds. Traffic and Public Transport will be much busier than normal, please plan your journey in advance and allow extra time.

Please note: Post match, trains heading west will leave from Morningside only. Trains heading to Britomart will leave from Kingsland, from Britomart trains can be caught to the South and East. 


Bus

Travel on special event buses is included with your game ticket. Services operate to Eden Park from Auckland City Centre, Northern Busway stations, Manukau, Botany, Pakuranga, Takapuna, Newmarket and Mt Eden. Remember to keep your game ticket for the ride home.

Newmarket/Mt Eden

*All existing stops on inbound route will be serviced by this event bus. Please hail the driver for travel. Passengers can also set down at any existing bus stop on outbound route.

Takapuna

Newmarket, Mt Eden Bus Route:

Starts from Stop 7401 at 19 Remuera Road, right Broadway, left Khyber Pass Road, left Symonds Street, left Mt Eden Road, right Balmoral Road, right Sandringham Road to Eden Park Transport Hub. Bus will stop at all stops en-route, please signal driver.


Train

Travel on trains from 3 hours before the start of the game, until the end of service with your game ticket. Remember to keep your game ticket for the ride home.

City Centre

The additional trains for the game will depart Britomart stopping only at Grafton station en route.

After the game, Kingsland is the station for passengers heading back towards the city (transfer at Britomart for trains going South or East). Trains depart Kingsland stopping only at Grafton station en route.

Western Line

Additional trains will operate on the Western Line.

A mobility shuttle will operate for patrons that are unable to walk between the stadium and Morningside Station.

After the game, for passengers travelling West, trains will depart from Morningside Station.

Southern and Eastern Line (including Onehunga)

Additional trains will operate on the Southern and Eastern Lines to Britomart where you can transfer onto Western Line services to Kingsland Station.

After the game, Kingsland will be the station for passengers heading back to Britomart where passengers can transfer onto Eastern and Southern Line trains.

Ferry

The Downtown Ferry Terminal is next to the Britomart Transport Centre in Downtown Auckland. This means ferry passengers can easily change to a train for transport to Eden Park.

Normal fares/passes apply for ferry services.

Terms and Conditions

  • Travel included with your ticket applies only to special event bus services and all trains services to and from Eden Park for the match between All Blacks and France Saturday 9th June 2018
  • Bus travel included with your ticket is ONLY available on special event bus services.
  • Travel included with your ticket on trains starts from 3 hours prior to kick off.
  • Travel on special event bus services starts approx. 2.5-3 hours prior to kick off. See timetable for further info.
  • To ride for free on specified event bus or train services you must show your valid pre-purchased ticket entitling you to entry to the All Blacks v France match at Eden Park Saturday 9th June 2018. Ticket receipts are not acceptable.
  • Tickets must be retained to show for return travel after the match, otherwise normal fares will apply.
  • If you do not show your valid match ticket normal fares apply for regular train services.
  • While all effort has been made to cater for expected demand on trains and special event buses, space on these services is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Passengers will be boarded on a first come first served basis.
  • Auckland Transport accepts no liability whatsoever in relation to the provision of these services, including, but not limited to, any liability in relation to any delay of, or failure to provide, any services.
  • Travel on Ferries is not included with your game ticket.
