Bus

Travel to Fat Freddy's Drop on the Northern Express (NX 1 & 2) and direct special event buses from Mayoral Drive is included with your pre-purchased event ticket. Remember to keep your event ticket for the ride home.

Travel included with your ticket on NX1 and NX2 services starts at 3pm, and runs until end of service.

Travel included with your ticket on City Centre special event buses will run from 3:30pm to 7:00pm, and then for 1 hour post event.

Northern Busway (NX1 and NX2) stations excluding Hibiscus Coast to Auckland City Centre (and return), will be operating to a standard Saturday timetable.

Please note that this service is limited and you may need to use existing scheduled bus services such as the Route 18 where normal fares/passes apply and are not included with your event ticket.

Train

Travel on trains is included with your event ticket from 3:00pm until the end of service. Remember to keep your event ticket for the ride home.

Ferry

The Downtown Ferry Terminal is located on Quay Street in Downtown Auckland. This means ferry passengers can easily cross the road and make their way up Queen Street to catch the special event buses.

Normal fares/passes apply for ferry services.

Taxi/Uber/Ridesharing/Drop Off and Pick Up

There will be a dedicated five-minute drop off and pick up zone on Great North Road, between Bullock Track and the Grey Lynn Shops.


Terms and conditions

  • Travel included with your ticket applies to trains, NX 1&2 and Special Event Bus services to and from Western Springs Stadium for Fat Freddy's Drop on Saturday 19 January 2019.
  • Travel included with your ticket on trains and NX 1&2 starts at 3:00pm until end of service on Saturday 19 January 2019.
  • To travel with your ticket on specified train, NX 1&2 and Special event bus services you must show your valid pre-purchased ticket entitling you entry to Fat Freddy's Drop on Saturday 19 January 2019.
  • Ticket receipts are not acceptable.
  • Tickets must be retained to show for return travel after the Event, otherwise normal fares will apply.
  • If you do not show your valid match ticket normal fares apply for regular train and NX1&2 services.
  • While all effort has been made to cater for expected demand on trains, NX1&2 and Special Event bus services, space on these services is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Passengers will be boarded on a first come first served basis.
  • Auckland Transport accepts no liability whatsoever in relation to the provision of these services, including, but not limited to, any liability in relation to any delay of, or failure to provide, any services.
  • Standard fares on Ferries and normal bus services apply.
