Use public transport to travel to this fabulous, free festival celebrating the magnificent Parnell Rose Gardens in Dove Myer Robinson Park. Lots to do, more to see, stalls, crafts and terrific entertainment, again proudly brought to you by the Waitemata Local Board.

Parnell Rose Gardens is serviced by the 755 bus which travels between Britomart and Benson Road. You can catch the 756 from bus stop 7028 on Commerce Street by Fort Street and alight at bus stop 7468 on Gladstone Road which will be located near the Rose Gardens.
For the return trip to Britomart you can catch the same 755 service from bus stop 7655 located at 92 Gladstone Road just opposite the Parnell Rose Gardens.

Catch the Southern or Western train to Parnell train station. From the station you can catch the shuttle bus service or walk roughly 20 minutes to Dove-Myer Robinson Park.

This year Parnell Festival of Roses & Parnell Waiters Race are teaming up and thanks to the support of Renault we are offering a shuttle service that will loop Parnell. The loop will connect Parnell Waiters Race at La Cigale Market, Parnell Rose Gardens, Parnell District School (who are offering event parking) & Parnell Train station. Each shuttle stop will be clearly signposted.

There is very limited parking in Parnell. On-street parking around the area of the park will have parking restrictions in place. Parnell District school are offering a limited number of spaces for a donation towards the school and the entrance to the school is off Gladstone Road. Alternative parking can be found near Spark Arena and will require a 16 minute walk to the event.
There will be very limited reserved mobility parking at the “Redwall” Function building entrance to the Rose gardens off Gladstone Road. These spaces need to be booked by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and a event specific accessible parking permit will be supplied.
A drop-off area will be located at the Gladstone Road entrance to the park.
