Bus

From the city centre, bus services 500, 501, 550, 552 and 595 depart from bus stop number 1420 at 50 Customs St East in Britomart Transport Centre and travel to 500 Great South Road (stop number 7616), just before the intersection with Woodbine Ave. It will involve an approximate 15-20 minute walk to the Ellerslie Racecourse via Woodbine Ave and Mitchelson St.

Train

The nearest train station is the Greenlane station, a short walk to the Ellerslie Racecourse. From the station take the ramp access to Green Lane West, turn right and follow the path to reach the pedestrian footbridge over the Southern Motorway to Green Lane East, continue past the hotels, then turn right onto Ellerslie Racecourse Dr.

FerryDowntown Ferry Terminal map

The Downtown Ferry Terminal is next to the Britomart Transport Centre in Downtown Auckland. This means ferry passengers can easily change to a train or bus to Ellerslie Racecourse.
