 Bus

Travel on the Northern Express (NX1 - not including services from/to Hibiscus Coast) is included with your pre-purchased match ticket. Remember to keep your event ticket for the ride home.

Travel included with your ticket on NX1 - not including services from/to Hibiscus Coast - services starts at 4:15pm, and runs until end of service.

If you’re coming from the North Shore you can catch the NX1 from a Busway Station (excludes Hibiscus Coast) and transfer to a train at Britomart to Kingsland Station. For travel from Newmarket catch the train to Kingsland Station.

Please note: NX1 Lower Albert stops will be closed from 7 December 2019 until 9 February 2020. NX1 buses will end trips outside H&M on Customs Street (just before Queen Street) and depart from stop 7016 on Customs Street East near Queens Arcade.

Or catch scheduled New North Road or Sandringham Road bus services to get to Eden Park, normal fares apply.

Train

Travel on trains is included with your event ticket from 4:15pm until the end of service. Remember to keep your match ticket for the ride home.

Use the Journey Planner to plan your train trip. Make sure to travel early and beat the crowds. On the Eastern line there will be buses replacing trains between Britomart and Otahuhu.

FerryDowntown Ferry Terminal map

The Downtown Ferry Terminal is located on Quay St in Downtown Auckland. This means ferry passengers can easily cross the road to Britomart Transport Centre and catch a train to Eden Park.  

Normal fares/passes apply for ferry services.

  • Travel included with your ticket on trains and NX1 (not including services from/to Hibiscus Coast) buses starts from 4:15pm
  • To ride with your ticket on specified NX1 bus or train services you must show your valid pre-purchased ticket entitling you entry to the Wellington Phoenix vs. WS Wanderers FC match on Saturday 7 December 2019. Ticket receipts are not acceptable
  • Tickets must be retained to show for return travel after the match, otherwise normal fares will apply
  • If you do not show your valid match ticket normal fares apply for regular train and NX1 bus services
  • While all effort has been made to cater for expected demand on trains and NX1 buses, space on these services is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Passengers will be boarded on a first come first served basis
  • Auckland Transport accepts no liability whatsoever in relation to the provision of these services, including, but not limited to, any liability in relation to any delay of, or failure to provide, any services.
  • Travel on ferries is not free. Normal fares apply
