From Sunday 7 January 2018, as part of the next phase of works for the City Rail Link, some bus-stop locations and bus routes into the City for West Auckland bus routes and route 030 are changing.
Route 18 will change its route from Sunday 28 January.
Western bus routes in the city
- Buses to the city will no longer use Pitt Street or Vincent Street and will travel a new route via Karangahape Road and Queen Street (some routes will continue via Mayoral Drive, Nelson Street to Hobson Street).
- Buses departing the city will depart different stops as listed below and then travel as normal via Hobson Street and Karangahape Road.
Note: Route 18 will continue to travel via Pitt St and Vincent St to the existing stop on Albert St (7081) until last service on Saturday 27 January.
Bus stops closing
- Bus stop 7081 outside the AA Building at 101 Albert Street will no longer be used by Western bus services.
- Bus stop 7085 located at 143 Vincent Street will be closed until further notice.
Note: Route 18 will continue to use these stops until last service on Saturday 27 January.
New bus stops
Bus services to West Auckland will use new bus stops in the city centre.
New stop 1362 at Victoria Street West by Albert Street for route 18 from Sunday 28 January
New stop 1464 at 56 Hobson Street for routes: 110, 125X, 129, 132, 132X, 133, 133X, 134.
New stop 7096 at Victoria Street West by Elliott Street for routes: 151X, 171X, 172X, 195, 209.
Route 020 and 020X to the city will travel via Karangahape Road and Queen Street and no longer use Vincent Street.
Route 030 will depart from Customs Street West stop 7015.
