A map of Auckland's eastern and southern lines during Stage 1 of the Rail Network Rebuild. Parnell, Newmarket, Remuera, Greenlane, Ellerslie, Penrose, Te Papapa, Onehunga, and Pukekohe stations are marked as closed. The Eastern line is shown as running during peak hours along the Southern Line from Britomart through Orakei, Meadowbank, Glen Innes, Panmure, Sylvia Park, and Otahuhu. There are four rail replacement buses marked on the map. The Onehunga to Newmarket Express (RBOX) is shown as running from Onehunga to Newmarket directly. The Onehunga to Otahuhu Connector (RBOC) is shown as running from Onehunga through Te Papapa and Penrose to Otahuhu. The Otahuhu to Newmarket service (RBS) is shown as running from Otahuhu through Penrose, Ellerslie, Greenlane, and Remuera to Newmarket. The Ellerslie to Britomart Express (RBSX) is shown as running from Ellerslie through Greenlane, Remuera, and Britomart at peak times only.

Te Papapa station will be closed from 16 January 2023 until 19 March 2023.

The Onehunga Line will not be running between Onehunga and Newmarket. This is the entire Onehunga Line.
