Registration prize draw Terms and Conditions

  1. All information on how to enter and eligibility for prizes forms part of these terms and conditions. By entering the 2019 Auckland Walk Challenge promotion (‘Promotion’) entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  2. Entry is open to people age 16 and over who are residents of the Auckland Council region on the last day of the Promotional Period.
  3. The Promotion runs from 12:00am, Monday, 23 September 2019 to 11:59pm, Thursday, 31 October 2019 (‘Promotional Period’).
  4. To enter the promotion, the eligible person must complete the registration for the November 2019 Auckland Walk Challenge. This includes completing the required questions on the Walker Tracker website to sign up as well as the additional walking survey questions which are linked to in the first registration confirmation email.
  5. There are three $150 Rebel Sport vouchers (‘Prizes’) to be won.
  6. The Prize draw will take place at 10:00am, at 20 Viaduct Harbour Avenue on Friday, 1 November 2019.
  7. The of each draw will be drawn at random from all eligible entries received during the Promotional Period, following which the winners will be contacted via phone or email. The Prize will be couriered to each winner. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of the winner’s identity before sending the Prize.
  8. The Promotion is limited to one entry per person. Any duplicate entries will be removed from the draw.
  9. If the winner does not wish to accept the Prize or if contact is not able to be made with the winner within 3 working days of the Prize draw, the winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize and a new winner will be drawn by the Promoter.

Weekly spot prizes for engagement Terms and Conditions

  1. All information on how to enter and eligibility for prizes forms part of these terms and conditions. By entering the 2019 Auckland Walk Challenge promotion (‘Promotion’) entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  2. Entry is open to people age 16 and over who are residents of the Auckland Council region on the last day of the relevant Promotional Period.
  3. The Promotion runs from 12:00am, Friday, 1 November 2019 to 11:59pm, Saturday, 30 November 2019. During that period there will be a prize draw at the end of each week:
    a. 1st November to 7th November 2019 (‘Promotional Period 1’);
    b. 8th November to 14th November 2019 (‘Promotional Period 2’);
    c. 15th November to 21st November 2019 (‘Promotional Period 3’);
    d. 22rd November to 28th November 2019 (‘Promotional Period 4’)
    (together the ‘Promotional Periods’)
  4. To enter the promotion, the eligible person needs to have participated in the weekly Challenge which is announced each week. Challenges vary from posting comments, completing a survey, posting an image on Facebook etc. All registered Auckland Walk Challenge participants who are receiving emails from the Walker Tracker platform will receive information on how to enter the week’s competition.
  5. There are two $50 voucher prizes (‘Prizes’) to be won each week (Promotional Period). Eight $50 vouchers will be won in total across the 4 Promotional periods. The winner of each $50 voucher can choose between a $50 voucher for Rebel Sport, Pak N Save, Kathmandu, Event cinemas or AT HOP money.
  6. The Prize draw(s) will take place at:
    a. 10:00am, 20 Viaduct Harbour Avenue on Friday, 8 November 2019 for Promotional Period 1;
    b. 10:00am, 20 Viaduct Harbour Avenue on Friday 15th November 2019 for Promotional Period 2;
    c. 10:00am, 20 Viaduct Harbour Avenue on Friday 22nd November 2019 for Promotional Period 3; and
    d. 10:00am, 20 Viaduct Harbour Avenue on Friday 29th December 2019 for Promotional Period 4.
  7. The winner of each draw will be selected by the Promotor at its sole discretion from all eligible entries received during the Promotional Period, following which the winners will be contacted via phone or email. The Prize will be couriered to each winner. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of the winner’s identity before sending the Prize.
  8. If the winner does not wish to accept the Prize or if contact is not able to be made with the winner within 3 working days of the Prize draw, the winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize and a new winner will be drawn by the Promoter.
  9. The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook. The entrant provides their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. The entrant completely releases Facebook from any liability in relation to the Promotion.

Weekly team achievement prize draw Terms and Conditions

  1. All information on how to enter and eligibility for prizes forms part of these terms and conditions. By entering the November 2019 Auckland Walk Challenge promotion (‘Promotion’) entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  2. Entry is open to teams age 16 and over who are residents of the Auckland Council region. The Promotion is limited to one entry per team. Any duplicate entries will be removed from the draw.
  3. The Promotion runs from 12:00am, Friday, 1 November 2019 to 11:59pm, Saturday, 30 November 2019. During that period there will be a prize draw at the end of each week:
    a. 1st November to 7th November 2019 (‘Promotional Period 1’);
    b. 8th November to 14th November 2019 (‘Promotional Period 2’);
    c. 15th November to 21st November 2019 (‘Promotional Period 3’);
    d. 22rd November to 28th November 2019 (‘Promotional Period 4’).
  4. To enter the promotion, the eligible team must walk an average of 7000 steps per team member during the promotional period(s); these steps must be logged on walker tracker within 24 hours of the end of the promotional period(s).
  5. Each week (‘Prizes’) are the following. One team will win a Little Bird Organics Essentials food hamper bundle (worth $89.95). The team members of that team (up to 6 people total) will each receive a $50 voucher of their choice from the following options: AT HOP money, Rebel Sport, Pak N Save, Kathmandu or Event cinemas.
  6. The Prize draw will take place at:
    a. 10:00am, 20 Viaduct Harbour Avenue on Monday, 11 November 2019 for Promotional Period 1;
    b. 10:00am, 20 Viaduct Harbour Avenue on Monday 18th November 2019 for Promotional Period 2;
    c. 10:00am, 20 Viaduct Harbour Avenue on Monday 25th November 2019 for Promotional Period 3; and
    d. 10:00am, 20 Viaduct Harbour Avenue on Monday 2nd December 2019 for Promotional Period 4.
  7. The winner of each draw will be drawn at random from all eligible entries received during the Promotional Period, following which the team leaders from the winning teams will be contacted via phone or email. The Prize will be couriered to each winning team. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of the winner’s identity before sending the Prize.
  8. If the winner does not wish to accept the Prize or if contact is not able to be made with the winner within 3 working days of the Prize draw, the winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize and a new winner will be drawn by the Promoter.

Achievement Individual Grand Prize Terms and Conditions

  1. All information on how to enter and eligibility for prizes forms part of these terms and conditions. By entering the November 2019 Auckland Walk Challenge promotion (‘Promotion’) entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  2. Entry is open to people age 16 and over who are residents of the Auckland Council region on the last day of the Promotional Period.
  3. The Promotion runs from 12:00am, Monday, 1 November 2010 to 11:59pm, Saturday, 30 November 2019 (‘Promotional Period’).
  4. To enter the promotion, the eligible person must have actively taken part in the November 2019 Auckland Walk Challenge, in that the website administrators must be able to see that they have logged steps for at least 20 out of the 30 days of the Challenge; these steps must be logged on the Walker Tracker website (Auckland.walkertracker.com) within 48 hours of the end of the Promotional Period.
  5. This package of prizes (‘Prizes’) consists of $30 AT HOP money for 2 people, return ferry tickets to Waiheke for 2 people, a $200 voucher for dinner at the Oyster Inn, Oneroa, and accommodation on Waiheke up to $500, selecting a voucher for Waiheke accommodation from the following options: Oyster Inn, waihekeholidayhomes.co.nz or staywaiheke.com.
  6. The Prize draw will take place at 10:00am, 20 Viaduct Harbour Avenue on Tuesday, 3 December 2019.
  7. The individual winner of the draw (‘Prizes’) will be selected by the at random from all eligible entries received during the Promotional Period, following which the winner will be contacted via phone or email. The Prize will be couriered to the winning person. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of the winner’s identity before sending the Prize.
  8. If the winner does not wish to accept the Prize or if contact is not able to be made with the winner within 3 working days of the Prize draw, the winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize and a new winner will be drawn by the Promoter.

Follow up Survey Terms and Conditions

  1. All information on how to enter and eligibility for prizes forms part of these terms and conditions. By entering the November 2019 Auckland Walk Challenge promotion (‘Promotion’) entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  2. Entry is open to people age 16 and over who are residents of the Auckland Council region on the last day of the Promotional Period.
  3. The Promotion runs from 12:00am, Monday, 23 September 2019 to 11:59pm, Tuesday, 17 December 2019 (‘Promotional Period’).
  4. To enter the promotion, the eligible person must have registered for the November 2019 Auckland Walk Challenge and have completed a post-Challenge behavioural walking survey.
  5. These prizes (‘Prizes’) consist of two $100 Westfield vouchers.
  6. The Prize draw will take place at 10:00am, 20 Viaduct Harbour Avenue on Wednesday, 18 December 2019.
  7. The individual winner of the draw (‘Prizes’) will be selected by the at random from all eligible entries received during the Promotional Period, following which the winner will be contacted via phone or email. The Prize will be couriered to the winning person. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of the winner’s identity before sending the Prize.
  8. If the winner does not wish to accept the Prize or if contact is not able to be made with the winner within 3 working days of the Prize draw, the winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize and a new winner will be drawn by the Promoter.

General Terms and Conditions (applicable to all promotions)

  1. These terms and conditions apply to all the Promotions described above.
  2. The Promoter is Auckland Transport, 20 Viaduct Harbour Avenue, Private Bag 92250, Auckland, 1010.
  3. If the winner does not wish to accept the Prize or if contact is not able to be made with the winner within 3 days of the Prize draw, the winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize and a new winner will be drawn by the Promoter and notified by the method described.
  4. The Promotor reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry process.
  5. Employees and family members of the Promoter are not able to enter the Promotion. The Promotion is limited to one entry per person per promotion. Any duplicate entries will be removed from the draw.
  6. If any advertised Prize (or part of the Prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or that part of the Prize) with a prize to the equal or greater value and/or specification. The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
  7. Any expenses (including but not limited to travel, accommodation, food and beverage) incurred in relation to accepting or using the Prize is the responsibility of the winner.
  8. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter and its associated agencies are not liable in any way (including, without limitation, in negligence) for any loss, damage or injury (including indirect and consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with participation in this Promotion or the use of the Prize.
  9. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify a consumer’s rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. These terms and conditions must be read subject to those statutory provisions and will not affect any statutory rights that an entrant may have in relation to the return of a prize.
  10. The Promoter, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel, suspend, terminate or modify the Promotion or any part of the Promotion if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control adversely affects the Promoter’s ability to conduct the Promotion or part of the Promotion as contemplated in these terms and conditions. Any cancellation or modification to the Promotion will be notified on the Promoter’s website at AT.govt.nz.
  11. The Promoter takes no responsibility for lost, damaged, misdirected, late, illegible or incomplete registrations or entries, incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures, failures of computer equipment or software, inability to access telecommunications network services, corruption of any format holding an entry, failure of the winner to collect the Prize or any other error or malfunction.
  12. The Promoter’s decisions on all matters relating to this promotion are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  13. The Promoter receives and holds personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. All personal information provided by entrants will be held by the Promoter at 20 Viaduct Harbour Avenue, Private Bag 92250, and Auckland 1010. Under the Privacy Act entrants have the right to access and correct their personal information.
