Once your child can ride a bike, a great way to help them master their skills is to ride as a family.
There are many neighbourhood greenways which are great places to practise skills while on a family outing to the local playground or school. We’ll be exploring one of those neighbourhood greenways with families on Sunday, 26 March.
The ride, which connects a series of shared off-road paths, is only 4km long with a snack and playground stop mid-way.
Along the way, families will learn tips for riding with kids and build skills to help them begin exploring their own neighbourhoods by bike.
Sunday, 26 March 2017, 2pm to 4pm.
Meet by the playground/toilet block in the Rosedale Park car park.
Registration is not required, meet by the playground/toilet block in the Rosedale Park car park at 2pm for a 2.30pm departure. Bring along your bikes and helmets to be checked before we leave, as well as some snacks and water. The ride is weather dependent.
