Winter is cold and wet but the Winter Wizard could come to visit your Walking School Bus to help keep the wheels on your walking school bus moving during the wet winter months.

During Term 3, our Walking School Bus Winter Wizard Walkers will be out and about, to encourage you to keep walking over winter.
Get your Walking School Bus involved having fun with the theme of the week and go into the draw to have a surprise visit from our Winter Wizard.
Theme 1 - Your Walking School Bus having fun walking in winter
Monday 23 July to Thursday 2 August 2018.
Post a photo of your Walking School Bus having some fun with your walking school bus mates during your walk to school.
Theme 2 - Your Walking School Bus all rugged up, wearing their winter woollies
Monday 6 August to Thursday 16 August 2018.
Post a photo of your Walking School Bus rugged up in your winter woollies. Perhaps a brightly coloured beanie, scarf, gloves and jacket.
Theme 3 - Your best Walking School Bus 'Winter Walking Tip'
Monday 20 August to Thursday 30 August 2018.
Share your best tip to keep walking over winter.
Theme 4 - Your Walking School Bus wearing their wet weather gear
Monday 3 September to Thursday 13 September 2018
Post a photo of your Walking School Bus wearing your wet weather gear, maybe your favourite gumboots or brightly coloured umbrella.

- Comment in the weekly themed competition Facebook event, including a photo, a short caption, your Walking School Bus route name and region.
- Easy as that, you’re in the draw to win a visit from the Winter Wizard.

Each child will receive a Winter Wizard star bag tag and parent volunteers a walking School Bus scarf or Walking School Bus umbrella.
All photos posted on Facebook in this competition can be seen by members of the public. If you are happy for your photographs to be used by Auckland Transport in any other media, each child will require a consent form to be completed by their parent or guardian.
