Page 2 998 between Wellsford and Warkworth 998 provides a non-stop connection between Wellsford and Warkworth. This service runs hourly, seven days a week. In Wellsford, this service uses a new bus stop on Station Road East, and the existing bus stops on State Highway 1 near the Memorial Park. In Warkworth, this service uses the bus stop on Baxter Street (in front of the library) and bus stops on Whitaker Road, near State Highway 1. Connections 998 connects Wellsford with Warkworth and the wider Auckland public transport network. At the Baxter Street stop in Warkworth you can transfer to: • 995 to travel to Hibiscus Coast Station in Silverdale • 996 to travel to Snells Beach and Algies Bay • 997 to travel to Matakana, Point Wells and Omaha At Hibiscus Coast Station, you can transfer to bus services for the Hibiscus Coast, Helensville, Kaukapakapa, Waitoki, North Shore and City Centre. Page 3 Get to Auckland City Centre by bus Wellsford: Take the 998 to Baxter Street in Warkworth. Warkworth: Transfer to the 995 at Baxter Street in Warkworth. Hibiscus Coast Station: Transfer to the NX1 at Hibiscus Coast Station. Route 995 runs between Warkworth and Hibiscus Coast Station. These can be purchased from "Shop at the Top" Four Square in Wellsford, New World Warkworth and Four Square Matakana. The Warkworth i-SITE Visitor Information Centre is a full AT HOP Retailer. AT HOP Retailers sell and top up blue and gold AT HOP cards. The $10 purchase price for blue and gold AT HOP cards is non-refundable. Page 5 Fares AT uses a zone-based system to calculate fares (excluding Skybus and ferries). Your fare will be based on the number of zones you travel through. When paying with an AT HOP card, your fare is calculated for the whole journey. A journey can consist of up to five buses or trains within four hours, with no more than 30 minutes transfer time between trips. When paying with cash, you'll need to pay separate, higher cash fares for each bus or train you use. The 128 between Helensville, Kaukapakapa, Waitoki and Hibiscus Coast Station also starts on 24 February 2019.
