Wheelchair access on bus services
Many of Auckland's buses are designed to allow easy access for wheelchair users. Find out more about accessibility on buses.
To ensure that there will be a wheelchair accessible bus on your bus route at the time you wish to travel, we recommend you contact the bus operator the day before you travel. If you know the service you will be using is operated by NZ Bus, call 09 373 9100.
Train operator contact details
Auckland One Rail (AOR) operate trains in the Auckland region.
For level crossing emergencies call KiwiRail directly on 0800 808 400. This includes issues with barrier arms, bells or lights at crossings not working correctly, blocked railway lines, damaged overhead wires.
