Group ferry bookings Group ferry bookings

Group bookings are available to all schools, institutions and organisations/groups wishing to travel by ferry.

Information

Group ferry bookings only apply to ferry services run by:

  • Fullers360
  • BelAir
  • Sealink
  • Explorer

Please note that group bookings exclude Waiheke and Rakino Island ferries.

On weekdays, we recommend organising your group booking between 9am and 3pm.

For group bookings over 25 or more, we always check with the ferry operator first to see if they can accommodate the numbers based on the time of day to ensure there will be enough space on that service/vessel.

How to book

To purchase, email groupferrybooking@at.govt.nz 3 to 4 weeks prior to travel with the following information:

  • name of the school, institution or organisation/group
  • date and time of travel
  • trip details (departure and return ferry terminal)
  • number of adults, children and seniors travelling
  • accessibility requirements
  • address for invoicing
  • address the Group Travel Pass is to be sent to
  • a key contact person and their details.
