Auckland Transport’s customer information systems are back up and running following an earlier outage.
Access to the AT website, AT Mobile app, passenger notifications, and passenger information screens was restored shortly after 5pm after about two hours offline. During this time public transport services continued to operate as usual and customers could still use AT HOP cards and contactless payments.
We would like to thank Auckland’s public transport users for their understanding and patience while our teams worked to get these systems back online.
AT will continue to investigate the cause of this outage, however we can confirm this was not a cyber security incident.
