There are frequent bus services from around Auckland to get to Auckland Domain. Use Journey Planner or the AT Mobile app to plan your journey, or visit the timetables page for scheduled bus times.

There will be bus detours and stop closures before and after the event. Check Live Departures before you travel to see if your stop is affected. Use Journey Planner to find your nearest alternative stop.

Bus travel in Auckland is included with your event ticket from 12pm until end of daily services. Simply show your ticket to the driver when boarding and remember to keep your event ticket for the journey home.

Special event buses will be operating  post-event. Simply show your ticket to the driver when boarding.

Buses will operate from 9pm to 1am, departing from a temporary bus stop located on Cenotaph Road (within Auckland Domain), arriving at Beach Road in Auckland City Centre. 

Train travel in Auckland is included in your event ticket from 1pm until end of daily services. Simply show your ticket when boarding, and remember to keep your match ticket for the journey home.

The Downtown Ferry Terminal is located near Waitematā Station. Ferry passengers can then catch a bus to Auckland Domain or enjoy a 30-minute walk to get there.

Standard fares apply for travel by ferry. Tag on and off with:

• AT HOP card. Standard fares apply. Children aged 5–15 travel free on weekends with a registered AT HOP card, and children under 5 travel free when with a paying passenger.

As part of our commitment to accessible and sustainable transport, we offer integrated ticketing—a convenient option where bus and train fares are included in the event ticket.

This initiative is part of a subsidised cost-share arrangement between AT and event organisers, designed to reduce barriers to public transport and support smoother journeys to and from events. Integrated ticketing helps reduce congestion, supports environmental goals, and enhances the overall event experience.

Event organisers can choose to opt into this service based on their event’s needs and priorities.

Free glitter and face painting stations will be located at Britomart and Grafton train stations from 2:30pm to 7pm - just show your ticket to join in!
