Benefits of using AT Park for business

If your staff need to use Auckland Transport on-street paid parking for work, they can be set up on a company AT Park account. This means that for businesses you:

  • can see all your on-street paid parking costs in one place
  • have access to all parking transactions and invoices
  • no longer need to reimburse staff for parking costs.

How to get started (4 steps)

Create an account


Start by creating an AT Park account for your business.

  1. Register for MyAT with your business email.
  2. Once logged in to MyAT register for AT Park.

You will need:

  • a company email address
  • a valid credit or debit card
  • a mobile phone number
  • the number plate details of one of the vehicles you'd like to add.

Add users


You'll add staff and set them up as users of the AT Park account.

  1. Log in to AT Park.
  2. From the menu select 'Motorist'.
  3. Click ‘Add’.
  4. Enter their mobile number.
  5. Select parking reminders.
  6. Click ‘Save’.

We recommend removing the phone numbers of people that leave the business.

Add vehicles


You can add number plate details of vehicles that will be used by the business.

  1. Log in to AT Park.
  2. From the menu select 'Vehicles'.
  3. Click ‘Add’.
  4. Enter number plate.
  5. Click ‘Save'.

You can also export a list of all vehicles from your account.

  1. Log in to AT Park.
  2. From the menu select 'Vehicles'.
  3. Choose to export as Excel or PDF.

Set usage restrictions


Choose when staff can use the AT Park business account. You do this by editing ‘Access control restriction’ settings for each person you add.

If you don't make any changes users can use the account for parking at any time with any of the registered vehicles.

How to apply usage restrictions:

  1. Log in to AT Park.
  2. From the menu select 'Motorists'.
  3. Click ‘Edit’ next to the mobile number you want to manage.
  4. Select a vehicle you want to apply restrictions to.
  5. Select access times for each day or restrict use for a whole day.
  6. Repeat steps for each user and vehicle you want to manage access for.

If a user tries to select a vehicle that they don't have permission to use, they will see an error message: 'An error has occurred. Parking failed. Parking not allowed at this time.'

Tip: changing these settings can only be done when there are no vehicles with a live parking session.

Once the account has been set up

Staff download the AT Park app

Once staff have been added to the account, they can download the AT Park App. They can then use the main business account for their parking. If staff have installed the app to their phone before their number has been added to your business account, they will need to un-install the app and re-install it.

  1. Ask your staff member to download the AT Park app.
  2. When they open the app, they will enter their mobile phone number.
  3. A verification code will be sent to their phone, which they enter into the app.
  4. Once this is verified, they can use the app to pay for parking.

Payments

Payment is by the credit or debit card you load to your AT Park account. Parking fees are charged at the time of use, to the card that's loaded in your account.
