Megastars evening 2019
This year’s Megastars Awards night was held on 14 June at Ellerslie Event Centre to recognise all our amazing Walking School Bus (WSB) volunteers and Travelwise Lead Teachers across Auckland.

Everyone enjoyed a night of entertainment and an award ceremony that recognised outstanding WSB parent volunteers and lead teachers from schools across the Auckland region.

Award categories
There were 2 categories with 4 different zones for each category (i.e. North, Central, West and South):
- Walking School Bus Parent Volunteers,
- and Travelwise Lead Teachers.

Annual Travelwise celebration and school awards
The Travelwise celebration is designed to recognise all the hard work, effort and achievement of schools on the Travelwise Programme.
During the year they promote road safety in their schools and communities, while encouraging children and their families to travel in an active and sustainable way.
