Clark Road pedestrian safety improvements

This is a short update on pedestrian safety and on-street parking improvements on Clark Road, Pahurehure.

Since our last update on the proposal outcome in September 2025, we’ve continued working on the detailed design for the project.

Detailed design is where we finalise plans so a contractor can be appointed and construction can be properly planned.

This includes confirming what will be built, what materials will be used, and the order the work will happen.

What happens next

At this stage, the project is awaiting final approval for proceeding to construction.

We’ll share more information, including timings and what to expect after approval, before any construction begins.
