About the Auckland Roading Classification Framework (ARCF)

The ARCF is Auckland Council's framework for classifying roads across Auckland. It also outlines whether a transport decision sits with Council's Governing Body or with a local board.

While Auckland Transport continues to manage and operate Auckland's public transport network, the ARCF is owned and maintained by Auckland Council.
