Completed slip repair sites
The following is a list of recently completed slip sites on Aotea, Great Barrier Island. Our thanks go to everyone in these communities for your patience and understanding as we made necessary repairs and restored safe connections.

Three slip sites on Aotea Road are awaiting exemption work from the Department of Conservation.
Subsoil drains through the slump by the Pinnacles seat (site RP8274) have been installed.

Blind Bay Road, Okupu

Repair plans for the second of 2 slips on Blind Bay Road are currently in design. The major slip on this road has been repaired, with minor road adjustment still to be done.
Puriri Bay Road, Tryphena (slip 5 of 5)

We have fixed 4 slips on Puriri Bay Road earlier this year. We have identified 4 new slips, bringing the total to 9 slips overall.
We began further repairs on Puriri Bay Road in August, with two sites completed by 6 September.
1 August 2024
The fifth and final slip repair on Puriri Bay Road is currently at the pricing stage before construction. Repairs are expected to begin later this year.
