Inner-west cycleways and street enhancements
We're working in Grey Lynn, Westmere, Point Chevalier and Great North Road to create attractive, safe and accessible streets for everyone.

Project overview
We are delivering improvements for people who travel by foot, bike, or bus within the inner-west suburbs of Point Chevalier, Westmere, and Grey Lynn.
These projects are being delivered separately and in consultation with residents and businesses.
Protected cycleways, separated from traffic, are a key feature of each project. We're also delivering new pedestrian crossings and road safety improvements.
The routes expand Auckland’s growing cycleway network, connecting at Point Chevalier with the Northwestern Cycleway and at the city-end with Karangahape Road Cycleway and the city centre cycle network.
