Report a problem with a wharf

Let the AT Facilities team know if you notice any maintenance problems.

When reporting a problem provide us details such as:

  • location of the wharf
  • description of the problem including
  • details of the incident if an accident occurred.

You can also let us know about common maintenance problems such as:

  • a slippery wharf
  • broken planks
  • berthing infringements
  • damage to the wharf
  • damaged or non-working leading lights.

When using Matiatia wharf

You must not leave your vessel unattended at any of the wharves at any time. Recreational vessels should only use this wharf for loading and unloading of passengers and provisions.

A vessel must be moved away from the wharf if instructed by a Wharfinger or an Auckland Transport representative.

Maximum berthing time at this wharf is 30 minutes.

If­ your ­vessel ­is ­berthed­ for­ more ­than 30­ minutes ­you ­will ­incur­ a­ layover­ berthage­ fee.

All commercial vessels require an Auckland Transport Licence.

  • Gulf Harbour 
  • Pine Harbour
  • West Harbour.
