Drury and Paerātā stations open on Sunday 2 August Drury and Paerātā stations
Plus two new bus services, and changes for the existing 376, 394 and 395 bus services
Drury and Paerātā stations will be served by Southern Line trains
Trains will run from early morning until late evening, seven days a week, with later services on Friday and Saturday nights.
- Every 10-20 minutes at peak times
- Every 20 minutes during the day
- Every 30 minutes in the evening

The above train frequencies are approximate. Please check the timetable before you travel.
Trains will stop at all stations between Pukekohe and Waitematā.
To help you get to and from the new stations, we’re introducing new bus services from Sunday 2 August
The 42 will run between Paerātā Rise and Paerātā Station
Monday to Friday, buses will run from 4:55am until 11:45pm:
- Every 15 minutes from 6am until 7pm
- Every 30 minutes at all other times.
On weekends and public holidays, buses will run from 5am until 11:15pm:
- Every 15 minutes from 7am until 7pm
- Every 30 minutes at all other times.
The 42 will serve four new stops on Te Rata Boulevard, between Jonah Lomu Drive and the eastern end of Metoriti Crescent, as well as the existing stops on Jonah Lomu Drive and Paerātā Road.
The 42 will replace the existing 394 service in Paerātā Rise. From Sunday 2 August, the 394 will no longer serve Paerātā Rise. If you're travelling from Paerātā Rise to Pukekohe, take the 42 to Paerātā Station and transfer either to a Southern Line train, or the 394 bus.
The 384 will run between Ramarama and Drury Station
Buses from Ramarama will run Monday to Friday from 5:20am until 11:17pm:
- Every 15 minutes from 6:15am until 8:45am
- Every 30 minutes at all other times.
On weekends and public holidays, buses from Ramarama will run:
- Every 30 minutes, from 5:50am until 11:02pm.
Buses from Drury Station will run Monday to Friday from 5:55am until 11:10pm:
- Every 15 minutes from 5pm until 7:12pm
- Every 30 minutes at all other times.
On weekends and public holidays, buses from Drury Station will run:
- Every 30 minutes, from 5:58am until 11:10pm.
The 384 will serve new bus stops on Maketu Road, Ross Stevenson Road, Jack Stevenson Road and Fitzgerald Road.
We’re also changing three existing bus services
The 376 will serve Drury Station from Sunday 2 August
Buses will use the new stops on Great South Road, directly outside the station entrance. There won't be any changes to the 376 route or timetable.
The 394 will run between Pukekohe Station, Paerātā and Paerātā Station from Sunday 2 August
Buses from Pukekohe will run every 30 minutes:
- Monday to Friday from 5:35am until 10:32pm
- On weekends and public holidays from 6am until 10:30pm
Buses from Paerātā Station will run every 30 minutes:
- Monday to Friday from 5:40am until 11:15pm
- On weekends and public holidays from 6:10am until 11:15pm
The 394 will no longer serve Paerātā Rise. Paerātā Rise will be served by the new 42 bus route from Sunday 2 August.
The 395 will serve Waiuku, Glenbrook and Paerātā Station from Monday 3 August
The 395 will continue to run Monday to Friday only.
- Buses will leave Waiuku at 5:20am, 6:20am and 7:20am
- Buses will leave Paerātā Station at 5:46pm, 6:46pm and 7:46pm
From Monday 3 August, the 395 will no longer serve Papakura Station. To travel to Papakura, transfer to a Southern Line train at Paerātā Station.
The 395 will no longer serve Kingseat, Te Hihi or Karaka. These areas will still be served all day, seven days a week by the 379 bus service.
Plan your journey and check your fare
From Monday 20 July, you'll be able to use our Journey Planner or the AT Mobile app to plan your journey using Drury and Paerātā stations, and the new and improved bus services. Remember to change from "Leaving now" to "Depart at" and select a date from Sunday 2 August onwards.
The Journey Planner and AT Mobile will also show your fare. Train users won't pay extra to take a bus to or from Drury or Paerātā stations. Just make sure you transfer within 30 minutes, tag on and off each service using the same card or smart device, and complete your journey within four hours. Each station has Park and Ride spaces, pick-up and drop-off areas, and bicycle and motorcycle parking.
