What it is

Being part of the Travelwise Programme connects schools with a wider network of community organisations that support safe, sustainable active travel.

We often work alongside partners such as Auckland Council Sustainable Schools, Enviroschools, Brake Aotearoa New Zealand, Auckland One Rail, and New Zealand Police to reinforce key messages around road safety, environmental responsibility, and positive travel behaviours.

Learning opportunities

Collaboration with community partners helps students and schools understand how organisations work together to support safer, healthier and more sustainable communities and that shared action can create positive change.
