Parking changes on Welcome Place, Splendour Close, Maurice Borich Place and Rathgar Road

Local residents have raised concerns about how they get in and out of Welcome Place, Splendour Close and Maurice Borich Place in Henderson.
When vehicles park on both sides along these narrow residential roads, it is difficult for larger vehicles such as emergency services and rubbish trucks to pass through. The parked cars can also block drivers views of oncoming traffic and pedestrians.
To improve travel and safety on these roads, we're proposing:
- installing broken yellow lines (no stopping at all times) on one side of Welcome Place and one side of Splendour Close
- extending the broken yellow lines at the intersections of Maurice Borich Place and Rathgar Road.
This will mean vehicles can park on one side but not the other.
