We recently asked for your feedback on our proposal about heavy motor vehicle parking which was intended to improve access and traffic flow on Crown Street, Royal Oak.
Public engagement was carried out between 13 and 27 August 2026. Residents and property owners on Crown Street and surrounding streets received information about the proposal by mail. Feedback was collected through the online survey on the project webpage and via email submissions.
Overall, more submitters opposed the proposal than supported it. Of the 24 submissions received:
- 10 submissions (42%) supported the proposal
- 12 submissions (50%) opposed the proposal
- 2 submissions (8%) did not indicate whether they supported or opposed the proposal
