What it is

A parent information evening provides an opportunity for the Auckland Transport School Travel Coordinator to connect directly with parents and whānau about the Travelwise Schools Programme, while parent teacher conferences (or similar) are in session.

Discussions may focus on road safety issues specific to the school site or ongoing or potential active travel initiatives within the school.

Aim

To share important Travelwise information with parents and whānau, support clear and consistent school messaging, and encourage questions, discussion, and engagement.
