Onehunga Mall parking pilot
We've started a 12-month pilot to improve parking around Onehunga Mall. We want to make it easier to visit and reduce the number of parking fines due to people overstaying time limits.

DrivingOverview
We've heard from local businesses, residents and visitors that the current parking arrangements don't meet the town's needs. We're working with the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board on this parking pilot.
The pilot will introduce new timed parking limits around Onehunga Mall. Some P30 time limits will stay between Church Street and Princes Street.
This includes:
- 60-minute parking (P60) along Onehunga Mall between Church Street and Grey Street
- 120-minute parking (P120) on surrounding streets including Princes Street, Church Street and Arthur Street.
We will not change mobility parking spaces, loading zones, bus stops or taxi stands.
