We’re responding to concerns raised by business nearby about improving accessibility along Bolderwood Place in Wiri.
Cars and heavy vehicles often park too close to, or directly opposite, the business driveway. This makes it difficult for trucks and other drivers to safely enter, exit, and navigate along the road.
To improve accessibility and make the road safer for everyone, we’re introducing new parking restrictions near the business driveway. These restrictions are intended to prevent unsafe parking and remind drivers that this part of the road is used by large vehicles.
The changes we're making in June/July 2026
We are introducing “No stopping at all times” restrictions (broken yellow lines) on both sides of the driveways at 5 Bolderwood Place, and on the road opposite at 8 Bolderwood Place.
To clear access, we need to reallocate road space and remove approximately 12 parking spaces.
