Walking, driving and busOverview
Auckland Parents of Deaf Children (APODC) have raised concerns about vehicles parking next to the driveway at 14 Hillsborough Road. Parked vehicles in this location can limit sightlines and make it harder for drivers to safely enter and exit the driveway.
Following a site assessment, we plan to:
- paint broken yellow lines (no stopping at all times) next to the driveway at 14 Hillsborough Road
- clear access and reallocate road space by removing 2 on-street parking spaces.
These changes will improve visibility for drivers entering and exiting the driveway. The removal of parked vehicles in this area will make it safer to access the road.
