Overview

We’re planning to introduce time‑limited parking on a section of Galway Street to better manage parking demand and improve access for customers, clients and nearby businesses.

We’ve heard concerns from the business community that trucks parking for extended periods reduce the availability of parking for nearby businesses, making it more difficult for customers to access them.

Time‑limited parking helps encourage turnover and makes parking spaces available to more people throughout the day.

What we’re proposing:

  • introduce P120 (2-hour) time restriction between the driveways of 36 and 38 Galway Street
  • the P120 time restriction will apply Monday to Saturday, 8am to 9pm. Outside these hours, the spaces will be unrestricted parking.
