Location

Seresin Crescent, Flat Bush

Transport involved

Walking, driving and cycling

Overview

We are making changes on Seresin Crescent to improve visibility, safety, and access for everyone moving through the street.

The street is narrow, and when cars are parked on both sides, especially on the bends, it becomes harder for people driving or cycling to see what is ahead. It also makes it difficult for those walking or using mobility aids to cross the road, and for emergency services and other large vehicles to enter and exit the street safely.

What we’re planning to do

To help address this, we plan to:

  • install No Stopping at All Times (broken yellow lines) markings on the bend outside number 13
  • extend the existing markings on the western side of the street outside number 20 and 22 Seresin Crescent.

Parking on bends is already illegal. These broken yellow lines reinforce the rules and help ensure the street stays safe and accessible for everyone.

Project benefits

Improved safety and visibility

Clearer sightlines on bends help people driving, walking and cycling move through the street more safely.

Better emergency access

Keeping key areas clear makes it easier for emergency and service vehicles to enter and exit the street.

Clearer parking rules

Broken yellow lines reinforce existing no-parking rules and help prevent vehicles blocking the road.
