DrivingOverview
We’re planning changes on Roma Road to improve access for large vehicles.
We've received concerns about vehicles parking on the north side of Roma Road. It's been noted that trucks and other vehicles parking in this area can restrict access to a vehicle crossing (driveway) and make it more difficult for larger vehicles to safely use the street.
To address this, we are planning to install broken yellow lines ('No stopping at all times') to improve access for larger vehicles.
The changes we’re making by December 2026:
- install 10 metres of broken yellow lines on the eastern side of the vehicle crossing outside 97 May Road (opposite Gate 1 of Gilmours)
- improve access and re-allocate road space by removing two on‑street parking spaces.
Clearing this space of parked cars will improve access and safety for large vehicles using the street.
