Project benefits

Better connections for west Aucklanders

With more buses in more locations more people will be able to get to more places more often. Better public transport allows more people to use it which contributes to carbon reduction goals.

Project background

These improvements are funded by Auckland’s Climate Action Transport Targeted Rate (CATTR), which funds initiatives contributing to the goals of Te Tāruke-ā-Tāwhiri: Auckland’s Climate Action Plan (opens in a new tab)

This plan sets out Auckland’s path to net zero emissions by 2050 while also adapting to the impacts of climate change.
