BusOverview
Rosedale Busway Station will provide a new connection to the Northern Busway between Albany and Constellation stations. It will make it easier for people in Rosedale to travel by bus and connect with local services on Rosedale Road.
The station will include:
- walking and cycling access
- bike parking
- mobility parking
- drop-off and pick-up facilities.
Around 5,200 jobs are within walking distance of the new station. Earlier planning indicated the station could support around 4,000 public transport trips each day.
The project was originally part of the Northern Corridor Improvements project. In 2023, the Rosedale scope was separated. It is now being delivered by Auckland Transport as a standalone project.
We are delivering the project in stages. The first stage will deliver the station and early corridor works. In future stages, we will plan wider corridor improvements, subject to funding. This includes:
- road widening
- intersection upgrades
- walking and cycling improvements.
