New bus route 364 and changes to route 365

The AT Local on-demand service is being replaced on 19 April 2026 by the new 364 fixed route bus service. AT Local was designed as a trial to understand local travel needs, but demand and feedback have shown that a regular bus service will better meet the community’s needs.
The 364 will provide a more reliable, accessible and resilient service with a regular timetable, more space, and no need to book at a lower operating cost. It will run between Papakura Station and Manurewa Station, connecting with Awakeri Wetlands, Takanini Town Centre, Takaanini Station, Conifer Grove, Waiata Shores and Te Mahia Station.
The 365 will have a small route change when the 364 launches.
The 365 will be adjusted to operate via Porchester Road and Airfield Road instead of Kauri Heart Avenue, which the 364 will now cover.
The 364 will run every 30 minutes, 7 days a week from:
- 5:30am to 11pm, Monday to Friday
- 6:00am to 11pm, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays
AT Local will run until 8:30pm on Saturday 18 April. After that, the 364 will take over from 6:00am on Sunday 19 April.
