4 steps to start using your free child weekend fares
- Buy an AT HOP card.
- Create MyAT account.
- Register their AT HOP card with their date of birth (this can take up to 72 hours to activate).
- Start your adventure!
Step 1: Buy an AT HOP card for your child
If you don't have an AT HOP card, find out how to buy a HOP card. You'll need the card number to register the card.
Step 2: Create MyAT account
Parents and caregivers can manage the card for the child or person under their care with a linked account or let them manage it themselves.
Step 3: Register HOP card to get child concession
Log in to MyAT and register the AT HOP card. If the child child's date of birth shows the child is under 16, a child concession will be automatically applied.
How long before the concession is active
Your child concession is usually available within 24 hours but may take up to 72 hours. You must tag on to AT public transport for your concession to show up in your online account. The concession will expire if you do not tag on within 60 days. If that happens, contact us and we can reload it for you.
Remember, you will be charged adult fares until the concession is applied to your child's AT HOP card.
Step 4: Start your adventure!
