Changes to Victoria Street West

Auckland Transport is improving access along Victoria Street West, so you spend less time in traffic and more time where you want to be.

The changes

We will add a third westbound lane on Victoria Street West, between Federal Street and Hobson Street. Drivers approaching Hobson Street will now have 2 dedicated left-turn lanes and one dedicated straight-ahead lane.

We will remove bus stop 7099 on the northern side of Victoria Street West as it is no longer needed.

We will shift the loading zone on the northern side of Victoria Street West, near the intersection with Hobson Street. It will replace bus stop 7030, at 68 Hobson Street. This bus stop is closing when bus routes shift to Albert Street in late November. For more information, go to November Bus Timetable and Route Changes.
